Follow these steps in order to enable Facebook chat on your WP7 device with mango:

• Go to http://profile.live.com
• Log in using your PRIMAIRY Live account. This is the account you entered when initially setting up your phone. Find this on your phone by going to Settings / Email+accounts, it’s the account listed as “Windows Live“.
• On the left side, hit manage and connect facebook.
• Grab your phone and go to Settings / Email+accounts, press and hold your Facebook and primiary Live ID and choose Synchronise.
• On your computer, go to facebook.com, log in and scroll all the way down. On the bottom you can change the display language used for facebook, change this to ENGLISH US.
• Grab you phone, go to messaging and enjoy facebook chat!

   I have done all these steps.And when I go in messaging and select online it shows signed in at the top…and YOUR FRIENDS ARE OFFLINE(they are’nt)

   If the above is not working means goto-> account settings-> security and change the below settings

   Login Notifications – Disable it

   If you have any recognized devices saved means remove all.

   Active sessions- if you found any anonymous login locations, remove all those and maintain only your current location login details.

    No matter what I try it will not work. Facebook Chat was working then one day just stopped working. gggrrrrrr

    Miness the same! I have a Htc mozart 7 also and it worked absolutely fine at one point and now i have no chance! Facebook wont work via windows messenger either!! Thats whether the problem is to start with!! 🙁

    No it still doesn’t work..i have a lumia 710 with Windows 7.8…just irritated…even I dont see friends online via other apps like IM+
    PLEASE PLEASE HELP
    are there any different settings for wp7.8??

    I have did the same as instructions but it has the same problem. i have HTC mozart 7. it was working good but i have got this problem for last month. I don’t know how to fix it please help me out. I hate my phone now 🙁
