After a couple of minutes idle time, your device is locked and you have to enter a PIN?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pieter.wigleven.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/04\/psswd.jpg\" alt=\"Locked by exchange\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can remove this by following these steps:<\/p>\n<p>1) <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.phm.lu\/products\/PocketPC\/RegEdit\/\">Download <\/a>and start a registry editor for you windows mobile device<\/p>\n<p>2) Find and change\u00a0the registry key: <em>HKLM\/Security\/Policies\/Policies\/<\/em>00001023 to<strong> <\/strong>value<strong> 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3) Close the registry editor and on your mobile device navigate to <em>start, settings, lock <\/em>and <strong>disable <\/strong>the &#8220;Prompt if device unused for&#8221; checkbox<\/p>\n<p>4) Most exchange servers push this policy every once and a while, so install <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pieter.wigleven.com\/it\/tools\/Zenyee.com%20Stay%20Unlock.cab\">download and install this .CAB <\/a>file on your device to make this setting permanent.<\/p>\n<p>Your device will never be locked again.
